Claddagh & Clover Retreat - 3B 2BA Home 1 mi to ND

The house was exactly as pictured. The surrounding community is peaceful and serene and only a short walk to Notre Dame. The management company was communicative and expressed a genuine desire to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. <br/>I would recommend arriving during the day, because the front of the house is actually the back and features very steep stairs coming off a beautiful deck surrounded by trees. The entry to the house is located around the back and can be accessed via the alley. This isn’t an issue, but is easier to navigate during the day. We loved the “lucky” house and would stay again!

Dan provided some arriving instructions but we still had trouble finding the place when we arrived around 10 pm because the house was high and not visible from the street. After some searching, we found the steep, long flight of stairs but they were unlit and overgrown with plants so we drove around the block several times looking for another way in and finally found the entrance by the garage after driving into what appears to be a neighbor's driveway. There was no exterior lighting so we had a bit of trouble getting the door to unlock and open. After finally getting in, the lit basement and attic looked creepy and we ended up sleeping together.<br/>In the daytime, the place was much less scary and more welcoming. I really liked the farm-style retro-modern furnishing and we LOVED the glass enclosed veranda. The kitchen and bathrooms were very nicely remodeled. The place was very quiet and peaceful, full of tall trees.<br/>I suggest not arriving at night on your first time there (:

We had a great stay here with our family for the ND Navy football game. A very easy walk to tailgating at campus. This home had all amenities needed and a stocked kitchen and bathroom. The neighbors were also very friendly and offered more parking space to us. We would definitely stay here for another weekend for our next ND game!
